Features Of The Audi E Tron GT

The future of the automotive industry is here, and it is sleek, fast, and all-electric! Audi has outdone themselves once again as their new electric concept is primed to hit dealerships in the next few years. Here at Pfaff Audi Vaughan, we are proud to be part of this brand’s bid for new and powerful driving experiences. Woodbridge residents interested in learning more Audi e-tron GT details can keep reading through this article to find out!

All-Electric Capability

Separate electric motors are fitted to the front, and rear axles of the e-tron GT and are permanently excited synchronous motors that can put down torque on the road through all four wheels. It offers drivers genuine, and electric, quattro capabilities, as there is no mechanical link between the front and rear axle so  the electronic control system coordinates the drive between the two, as well as the left and right wheels, for optimum traction. This Audi will have the power, 590 hp to be exact, and speed to burst from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3.5 seconds.

With a range of over 400 kilometres at your disposal, thanks to the power of the lithium-ion battery which is contained in the underfloor area of the vehicle to offer a low centre of gravity, you gain agility, precision, and distance driving unlike any other electric car on the market today.

Easy Charging

The lithium-ion battery can be charged in multiple ways for efficient and accessible power. A cable connected behind the flap in the left front wing can be connected to an outlet, providing you with faster-charging capabilities, as the four-door coupé is fitted with an 800-volt system. Quickly charge your battery up to 80 percent, and gain over 300 kilometres of range, with just a 20-minute charge! The e-tron GT can also be charged using a contactless induction with Audi Wireless Charging. A charging pad will be installed permanently on the floor where the car will be parked, connecting to a power supply to fully charge the battery overnight.

Electric Offensive

Audi officially launched its electric offensive in September of 2018, with the world premiere of the all-electric SUV Audi e-tron. By 2025 this innovative brand will offer 12 all-electric drive automobiles to the most important markets worldwide, as a bid to bring clean driving to the forefront of the industry.

This concept model will be developed into volume-production models by the end of 2020, with initial deliveries made to customers in 2021. For more Audi e-tron GT details, contact us at Pfaff Audi Vaughan to speak to one of our knowledgeable and friendly members of staff.
